SSA meeting Newport RI 20 March

For all those who have been waiting with baited breath for the next meeting of the SSA, you can now exhale.

Again, thanks to the hospitality of the Newport Yacht Club, Roy Guay and the Bermuda 1-2 group, we will be holding a meeting of the SSA on the NYC premises 1130 Saturday 20 March 2010 for perhaps 90 minutes. I selected this date because interested sailors can get a twofer that day since the March Meeting of the Bermuda 1-2 group will be meeting in the after noon after we are done (and had lunch)

I will post a more formal agenda here in a week or so but for the time being the key issues to be considered will likely include:

A posting of the proposed Constitution for the SSA

Membership parameters including fees, what you get and in side and outside the website membership “wall”

By laws

IRS issues.

BIG thanks to Jack Ives, Webmeister par excellence for battling thru the various issues over the last couple of years.

Any immediate questions (or comments) call me at 401 965 6006 or email at cooper@short-handed.org

Cheers

Coop
